In Wednesday's league test, the host Carlsbad Lancers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens.

The Lancers now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westview for a non-league test on Thursday, March 9. Carlsbad will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-3.

The Ravens (7-4) will now prepare for their test against San Marcos (San Marcos, CA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, San Marcos was nudged by Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
