The Grant Pacers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting River City Raiders to 0 in the Pacers league victory on Wednesday.
The Pacers now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McClatchy for a Metropolitan Conference game on Monday, March 13. Grant will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.
The Raiders (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals enter the Metropolitan Conference game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Laguna Creek dropped by Del Oro (Loomis, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
