Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC), 17-6 in a league battle.

The Chargers now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Corinth Holders for a non-league battle on Friday, March 10. Northwood will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) in a DAC-VII/N. Lakes Athletic/Central/Mid-Carolina battle, on Monday, March 13. Carrboro will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 17-1 league loss to Jordan (Durham, NC).
