Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), 13-1 in a league battle.

The Panthers now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Catawba Ridge for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 14. Providence will clash with a Copperheads squad coming off a 15-4 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Copperheads record now stands at 3-2.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a Southwestern/So Meck battle, on Thursday, March 9. Independence will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).
