North Carolina High School Softball - Butler can't hold off Porter Ridge

The Butler Bulldogs softball team (Matthews, NC), was tipped 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC)

Coming up next, the Pirates clash with the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 13. Porter Ridge will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).

The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers come into the Southwestern 4A test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Providence was tipped by Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 9-0, in a non-league test.
