North Carolina High School Softball - East Surry knocked off by South Stokes

March 8, 2023: Pilot Mountain, NC 27041

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), by a margin of 14-1.

With the triumph, South Stokes moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Sauras host East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 9. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 2-0. East Forsyth won 14-3 in their recent league contest against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)

In their next game, the Cardinals play the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 10. East Surry will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 10-8 non-league win over North Surry (Mount Airy, NC).
