In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Rolesville Rams (Rolesville, NC), by a margin of 9-2.

With the triumph, Panther Creek moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Catamounts host Millbrook (Raleigh, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, March 10. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Millbrook lost 17-0 in their recent non-league contest against Clayton (Clayton, NC)

In their next game, the Rams play the Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 9. Rolesville will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).
