The Poplar Springs Atomics baseball team (Graceville, FL), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL)
The Wildcats now hold a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty County for a 1A District 5 outing on Tuesday, March 12. Altha will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Blountstown (Blountstown, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
Next, the Atomics confront the Malone Tigers (Malone, FL) in a 1A District 3 outing, on Monday, March 11. Poplar Springs will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Emmanuel Christian (Dothan, AL).
