The Cougars now possess a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 9. Canyon will face a Mavericks team coming off a 2-1 league win over Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-10.

Next, the Bobcats face the Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 9. South San Antonio will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 6-5 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Nixon (Laredo, TX).
