North Carolina High School Baseball - Douglas Byrd loses to South View

March 8, 2024: Hope Mills, NC 28348

The South View Tigers crushed the visiting Douglas Byrd Eagles baseball team by a count of 28-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terry Sanford for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 9. South View will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 17-2 league win over E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

Next, the Eagles face the Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 9. Douglas Byrd will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Knightdale (Knightdale, NC).
