The Fulshear Chargers baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Marshall Mavericks to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.

The Chargers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region III District 20 match with a 1-13 record. In their last match, Lamar Consolidated was overwhelmed by Columbia (West Columbia, TX), 3-0, in a non-league match.

The Mavericks (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Kingwood Christian Life Center Academy (Kingwood, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Kingwood Christian Life Center Academy gained a win over Brazosport Christian (Lake Jackson, TX), 18-10, in a non-league match.
