The Grape Creek Eagles baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the host San Angelo Central Bobcats to 3 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Merkel (Merkel, TX). The Badgers go into the 3A Region I District 6 match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Merkel was edged by Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX), 7-2, in a non-league match.
The Bobcats (6-15) will now prepare for their match against Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Socorro edged Lubbock (Lubbock, TX), 8-1, in a non-league match.
