In Friday's league game, the host Houston County Bears baseball team scored a nice 19-0 victory over the Northside Eagles.
The Bears (10-3) will now prepare for their game against Veterans (Kathleen, GA). The Warhawks go into the 6A Area 1 game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Veterans was overwhelmed by Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA), 6-1, in a league game.
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Central Fellowship Christian Academy overcame Community Christian Academy (Adel, GA), 10-1, in a non-league game.
