In Friday's non-league game, the visiting South Point Red Raiders baseball team scored a tight 6-4 victory over the North Lincoln Knights.
The Red Raiders (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Greenwave go into the Big South 3A game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Ashbrook tipped Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC), 6-5, in a non-league game.
The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians go into the Western Foothills 3A game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, St. Stephens tipped North Surry (Mount Airy, NC), 12-4, in a non-league game.
