California High School Baseball - St. Monica gets by St. Anthony

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA) and the host St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA), saw St. Monica's baseball squad beat St. Anthony by a margin of 6-4.

Coming up next, the Mariners play the New Roads Jaguars (Santa Monica, CA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 11. St. Monica will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA).
