The West Columbus Vikings baseball team (Cerro Gordo, NC), was overwhelmed 10-1 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC)

The Trojans now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Topsail for a Mideastern 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, March 12. West Brunswick will face a Pirates team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 1-3.

Next, the Vikings face the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing, on Tuesday, March 12. West Columbus will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Titans enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC).
