Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines (Eveleth, MN), 101-99 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hermantown upgrades its record to 24-7 on the year. The Hawks travel to Duluth East (Duluth, MN) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Saturday, March 9. The Greyhounds enter the game with a record of 10-17.

With the defeat, Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] moves to 22-10 on the year.
