The Bolsa Grande Matadors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Irvine Vaqueros to 1 in the Matadors non-league victory on Friday.

The Matadors now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loara for a Garden Grove game on Tuesday, March 12. Bolsa Grande will meet a Saxons team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA). The Saxons record now stands at 0-9.

The Vaqueros (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Lightning enter the Pacific Coast game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Sage Hill was dropped by Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
