In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Fremont Packers basketball team scored a good 49-40 triumph over the Grant Tigers.
In their next game, the Packers meet the Spring Lake Lakers (Spring Lake, MI) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 11. Fremont will attempt to better on its 20-4 season record. The Lakers enter the match with a 17-6 record after their 55-17 non-league win over Fruitport (Fruitport, MI).
With the defeat, Grant moves to 15-7 on the year.
