The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Mary's Saints (Raleigh, NC) and the host Fayetteville Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), saw St. Mary's's lacrosse team top Fayetteville Academy by a margin of 20-5.

The Saints (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. David's (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Hurricanes enter the Freelance challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cape Fear Academy was overwhelmed by Cary Academy (Cary, NC), 9-8, in a non-league challenge.
