Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC), 13-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Copperheads confront the York Cougars (York, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, March 12. Catawba Ridge will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 10-0 league loss to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC).

The Stallions now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to York Prep for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11. South Pointe will confront a Patriots team coming off a 15-0 league win over North Central (Kershaw, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.
