With the win, Monroe Area upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Purple Hurricanes host East Jackson (Commerce, GA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, March 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-0. East Jackson won 13-1 in their recent non-league test against East Hall (Gainesville, GA)

With the defeat, Clarke Central falls to 2-2 on the season. The Gladiators host Rockdale County (Conyers, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 12. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
