Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Chaparrals now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Dripping Springs for a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Monday, March 11. Westlake will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Akins (Austin, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Anderson falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lake Travis (Austin, TX) to battle the Cavaliers in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Monday, March 11. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 12-9. Lake Travis lost 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Del Valle (Del Valle, TX)
