Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cypress Woods for a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Bridgeland will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Cypress Falls (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-13.

With the loss, Cypress Ranch falls to 8-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX) to battle the Spartans in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 4-13. Cypress Lakes won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX)
