The Ingleside Mustangs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Calhoun Sandcrabs to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Ingleside improves its record to 18-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Taft (Taft, TX) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Monday, March 11. The Greyhounds come into the game with a record of 7-9. Taft lost 9-1 in their recent non-league game against San Diego (San Diego, TX)

In their next game, the Sandcrabs clash with the Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 game, on Tuesday, March 19. Calhoun will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 12-6 record after their 15-0 league win over Jones (Beeville, TX).
