Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hays Hawks (Buda, TX), 10-6 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they host Leander for a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge on Monday, March 11. Glenn will battle a Lions squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX). The Lions record now stands at 20-2.

With the loss, Hays falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Hawks host Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX) to battle the Timberwolves in a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge on Monday, March 11. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a record of 1-12. Cedar Park lost 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Lockhart (Lockhart, TX)
