North Carolina High School Softball - Lumberton bounces Jack Britt

March 8, 2024: Lumberton, NC 28358

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) and the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC), witnessed Lumberton's softball squad prevail over Jack Britt by a count of 13-0.

The Pirates now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they host South View for a United Eight 3A/4A match on Tuesday, March 12. Lumberton will face a Tigers squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Jack Britt moves to 1-3 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to face the Bucks in a non-league match on Monday, March 11. The Bucks go into the match with a record of 3-1. Hoke County won 6-4 in their recent league match against Lee County (Sanford, NC)
