Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX), 19-1 in a league challenge.

The Lobos now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host Nixon for a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge on Monday, March 11. Palmview will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-5 league loss to Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Martin falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX) to battle the Huskies in a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge on Wednesday, March 13. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 4-9.
