The Miramonte Matadors softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Tennyson Lancers to 1 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Miramonte moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Matadors travel to San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league game on Monday, March 11. The Grizzlies come into the game with a record of 1-2. San Lorenzo won 27-8 in their recent non-league game against Fremont (Oakland, CA)

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) in a West Alameda County-Shoreline game, on Wednesday, March 13. Tennyson will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Jets come into the game with a 6-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Campolindo (Moraga, CA).
