Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams (Yerington, NV), 22-2 in a league challenge.

The Lakers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coleville for a 1A Northern challenge on Saturday, March 16. Pyramid Lake will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to Wells (Wells, NV). The Wolves record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rams host Wells (Wells, NV) to battle the Leopards in a 1A Northern challenge on Saturday, March 16. The Leopards enter the challenge with a record of 5-2.
