Texas High School Softball - Vela bounces Rowe

The crowd at Friday's league match between the Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) and the host Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX), saw Vela's softball squad nip Rowe by a count of 10-6.

The Sabercats now sport a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North for a 5A Region IV District 31 match on Monday, March 11. Vela will face a Raiders squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest (Pharr, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 14-2.

The Warriors (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Valley View (Pharr, TX). The Tigers come into the 5A Region IV District 31 test with a 4-6 record.
