The Western Christian Fighting Lancers (Upland, CA) softball routed the host The Webb Schools Gauls (Claremont, CA), 7-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Fighting Lancers (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 11-2 record. In their last bout, Etiwanda held off Sultana (Hesperia, CA), 1-0, in a non-league bout.
The Gauls now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Orangewood Academy for a San Joaquin bout on Tuesday, March 12. The Webb Schools will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 20-5 league loss to Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-2.
