Texas High School Baseball - Franklin prevails Montwood

March 8, 2025: El Paso, TX 79912

The Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX), 11-2 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Coronado for a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Monday, March 10. Franklin will clash with a Thunderbirds team coming off a 8-5 league loss to Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, Montwood drops to 6-7 on the year. The Rams host Franklin (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 5-7.
