The New Hope Indians baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Hokes Bluff Eagles to 0 in the Indians non-league win on Saturday.
The Indians now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee-Scott Academy for a non-league test on Monday, March 10.
With the defeat, Hokes Bluff drops to 5-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Etowah (Attalla, AL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 7-8. Etowah lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL)
