California High School Baseball - North Tahoe defeats Pershing County

March 8, 2025: Tahoe City, CA 96161

The North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), 15-8 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Lakers now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Yerington for a 2A Northern challenge on Tuesday, March 11. North Tahoe will clash with a Lions team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Pershing County drops to 3-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to West Wendover (West Wendover, NV) to clash with the Wolverines in a 2A Northern challenge on Friday, March 14. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 5-2. West Wendover won 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV)
