California High School Volleyball - El Capitan edged by Pitman

The El Capitan Gauchos volleyball squad (Merced, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA)

With the win, Pitman improves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Pride travel to Turlock (Turlock, CA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Central California Athletic League battle on Thursday, March 13. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 7-5. Turlock lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA)

The Gauchos now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host McLane for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 13. El Capitan will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Fresno (Fresno, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-5.
