In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lincoln Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats.

The Mustangs (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, San Leandro edged Encinal (Alameda, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 8. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA).
