In Saturday's non-league test, the Caldwell Parish Spartans (Columbia, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Rayville Hornets (Rayville, LA), by a tally of 15-0.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 10. Caldwell Parish will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 2-7 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to LaSalle (Olla, LA).

The Hornets (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Block (Jonesville, LA). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record.
