In Saturday's non-league match, the host Fairview Aggies softball team scored a nice 14-1 victory over the Cleveland Panthers.
The Aggies (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Cold Springs (Bremen, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Cold Springs gained a win over Addison (Addison, AL), 14-11, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL) in a 2A Area 12 match, on Tuesday, March 11. Cleveland will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Patriots go into the match with a 6-2 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Victory Christian (Pell City, AL).
