The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL) and the visiting Elba Tigers (Elba, AL), observed Long's softball team notch a victory over Elba by a final score of 12-1.

The Rebels (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Houston County (Columbia, AL). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Houston County was routed by Dale County (Midland City, AL), 13-0, in a non-league test.

The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Brantley (Brantley, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Area 3 test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Brantley was routed by Elba (Elba, AL), 9-6, in a non-league test.
