Alabama High School Softball - South Lamar edges Fayette County

In Saturday's non-league match, the host South Lamar Stallions softball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Fayette County Tigers.
The Stallions (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Lamar County tipped Oakman (Oakman, AL), 5-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 10. Fayette County will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 3-7 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to South Lamar (Millport, AL).
