California High School Softball - Oceanside edges Grossmont

March 8, 2025: Oceanside, CA 92054

The Oceanside Pirates softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Grossmont Foothillers to 5 in the Pirates non-league win on Saturday.

The Pirates now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westview for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. Oceanside will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Grossmont moves to 0-4 on the season. The Foothillers travel to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to confront the Vaqueros in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 13. The Vaqueros come into the battle with a record of 1-2.
