Next, the Patriots play the Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) in a 5A District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. John Curtis Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Cubs enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Hahnville (Boutte, LA).

The Bulldogs (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, St. James edged Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA), 9-2, in a non-league challenge.
