In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting St. James Sharks softball team scored a tight 4-1 win over the Johnsonville Flashes.
The Sharks (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Loris (Loris, SC). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Loris was routed by Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC), 4-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Flashes confront the Carvers Bay Bears (Hemingway, SC) in a A Region 6 match, on Tuesday, March 11. Johnsonville will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Bears come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Lake Marion (Santee, SC).
