Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA), 7-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Los Alamitos improves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Griffins host Cypress (Cypress, CA) to play the Centurions in a non-league game on Thursday, March 13. The Centurions enter the game with a record of 10-3.
The Rams now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lakewood for a Moore game on Thursday, March 13. Millikan will play a Lancers squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Lancers record now stands at 3-5.
