The Waltrip Rams softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Madison Marlins to 0 in the Rams league win on Saturday.

The Rams now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling for a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Monday, March 17. Waltrip will confront a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Spring Woods (Houston, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Madison moves to 0-5 on the season. The Marlins host Galena Park (Galena Park, TX) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Monday, March 10. The Yellowjackets come into the battle with a record of 3-6. Galena Park lost 11-5 in their recent non-league battle against Ball (Galveston, TX)
