The Walker Wildcats the host St. Charles Catholic Comets softball squad by a count of 10-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 10. Walker will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 18-8 non-league win over Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA).
The Comets (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Chipmunks go into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Chapelle was routed by East River (Orlando, FL), 12-1, in a non-league challenge.
