Alabama High School Baseball - Pennington loses to Appalachian

The Pennington Tigers baseball team (Blountsville, AL), was overwhelmed 19-5 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL)

The Eagles now hold a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hayden for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 9. Appalachian will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.

Next, the Tigers confront the Holly Pond Broncos (Holly Pond, AL) in a 3A Area 13 outing, on Monday, March 14. Pennington will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Broncos go into the outing with a 1-7 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Whitesburg Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL).
