The Hazel Green Trojans the host Grissom Tigers baseball team by a tally of 10-5 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Limestone for a non-league game on Thursday, March 10. Hazel Green will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
The Tigers (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Chiles (Tallahassee, FL). The Timberwolves go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Chiles was overwhelmed by Buchholz (Gainesville, FL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
