In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Hibriten Panthers baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the West Wilkes Blackhawks.
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Mount Airy tipped Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC), 9-0, in a non-league game.
